Complete Screen Assembly for Xiaomi Mi A1 (5X) -Black

I purchased two pieces, because me and my friend have this phone model. I decided I will swap them with my own hands. I received the package within 2 weeks after placing order, via Singapore Post. Package did not seem like it was mistreated, and the styrofoam container is a good way of securing this kind of item. I took a good look on the screens I received, and one had a plastic cover over fuses/transistors/connections, while other had not. The one that did not had the cover, was visibly missing some connections. I opened my phone, and without disassembly disconnected my old screen and connected new ones – to test, and the results were: the one with a plastic cover was working, while the one without cover did not. Shame, my friend has to keep her cracked screen. On the proceeding of swapping screens I was guided by "Xiaomi MI A1 MDG2 Screen replacement" video on YouTube. Everything went just like on the video, the phone powered up and I saw "AndroidOne" logo. Afterwards, I checked the quality of the digitizer, and it's top notch – recognises 10 fingers everywhere. A small complaint is slightly greenish tint of the colors, but it's easy to correct with a color profiling app. I like the fact, that this screen is not curved, because it's easier to apply screen protectors. I recommend this screen, yet I ask the vendor to check if all connections are OK before sending – it only takes a minute!

Ordered a screen replacement and the necessary toolkit to repair my screen, all the parts that I ordered were delived after ~ 2 1/2 weeks ( to the Netherlands). With the tutorial on the page I was able to succesfully repair my phone and save myself arround 40 $ compared to having it repaired. Because I never repaired a phone it took me about 1 1/2 hour, but I imagine that will be faster now I know what's inside of my phone:) Thanks for the service and decent product: )

It's great to have a source of low cost parts for the phone. Service was good and as advertised.
