How to tell which Screen part you need for the Asus FonePad 8 FE380CG:

LCD Only: If the image under the glass is broken and the touch panel is NOT then you only need an LCD.
Touch Panel aka Digitizer: If the top touch panel or aka glass top is cracked or broken but the image under it is fine then you only need the Touch Panel.
Complete Screen with Touch Panel and LCD: If the top touch panel is broken and the lcd image is either black liquid or cracked you need a complete screen.

Worked for my tab

The screen of my Asus Fonepad-8 (Model No. K-016) had cracked, although the tab was working and I was able to perform all functions. Therefore, I concluded that it had a separate screen and LCD display (which I was right). Asus Service Centre was asking for INR 11,000 to replace the screen, although the tab itself cost me INR 14,000. So, I looked for a replacement screen online. I ordered the screen from www.parts4repair.com for INR 1405 (plus INR 300 delivery charges by postal service) (Conversion rate charged: 1US$ = INR 70). Got it installed from a local repair shop for INR 500. In INR 2300, I got my tab to working condition :) Go for the screen. I received it within time and with no hassles. Recommended.

Excellent spare! Find a good mechanic to install. Charges including 500 for the installation is still 8000 rs cheaper than what asus auth service centre is charging.
